- Okay, so. I may never take a roadtrip again. D:

- Every time I try to eject my external hard drive and get that "Device Whatever cannot be stopped right now" message, I think of the Eyes Only monologue from Dark Angel: "Do not attempt to adjust your set. This is a Streaming Freedom video bulletin. The cable hack will last exactly sixty seconds. It cannot be traced, it cannot be stopped, and it is the only free voice left in this city."

- This is a nice post about why Southland is awesome and you should all be watching it. In summation: Lydia Adams, Ben Sherman, John Cooper; but she is much more eloquent about it. :)

So, I'm watching Jericho (

yahtzee63, your work here is done), and I kept having moments of "Gee, Emily looks sort of familiar," but never anything strong enough to make me actually look her up on IMDB. I thought it was just that vague, pretty-blond-actress familiarity. But no! I've realized it now! She was Asha on Dark Angel! How bizarre.

I'm enjoying Jericho a good deal, actually. I'm only on the eighth ep, but I love it when a show writes its women well, and I like almost all the main female characters, which is definitely a good sign. Not to mention that whole post-apocalyptic thing. That's pretty great, too. :)
