It was always sort of quietly awesome in a highly enjoyable way, but you're right, the finale was full-blown awesome. I mean, that last scene alone, in the SUV? Would've made the whole run worth it even if the rest had been crap. Hot damn.
Which, of course, is why they cancelled it. *sigh*
